Itinerary
Day 1:
Board yourspacious, video and restroom equipped Motorcoach and set off for the legendary Black Hills of South Dakota. Tonight, check into an en route hotel for a good night'srest.
Day 2:
Today, after a Continental Breakfast, enjoy a visit to the Missouri Civil War Museum in St Louis, MO. That night, enjoy Dinner and check into your en route hotel.
Day 3:
Enjoy a Continental Breakfast before leaving for the Pony Express Museum. Later that day, after a relaxing Dinner, you'll check into your en route hotel.
Day 4:
Today, after enjoying a Continental Breakfast, you will depart for a visit to the spectacular Badlands National Park. Then, you will go to the amazing Wall Drug Store before having Dinner and checking into your South Dakota area hotel.
Day 5:
Start the day with a Continental Breakfast before heading to the BORGLUM HISTORICAL CENTER, where you will learn the story of Gutzon Borglum, the sculptor of Mount Rushmore. Afterward go to the MOUNT RUSHMORE NATIONAL MEMORIAL, America's“Shrine of Democracy” and a symbol of the nation'srich history, rugged determination, and love of freedom. Then enjoy a TOUR OF WILDLIFE LOOP ROAD at CUSTER STATE PARK. The Wildlife Loop Road takes you through rolling prairies and pine covered hills, offering one of the bestspotsin the region to view native animalsin the wild. This evening, enjoy Dinner and entertainment.
Day 6:
After enjoying Continental Breakfast, you will go to the High Plains Western Heritage Center. Then, you'll head for Deadwood, South Dakota, the former home of Wild Bill Hickok and Calamity Jane - now the location of gaming establishmentsin beautifully restored historic hotels and saloons. Enjoy a GUIDED TOUR OF DEADWOOD, have some gaming excitement and later, enjoy Dinner.
Day 7:
Today after Continental Breakfast, your tour takes you to the unique JOURNEY MUSEUM, which tellsthe complete history of the mystical Black Hills. Then, prepare for an inspirationalsight at the magnificent and spectacular CRAZY HORSE MEMORIAL, destined to be the world'slargest memorial upon completion. You'll also learn about the sculptor Korczak Ziolkowski, his vision, and the loving family who continues hislife's work. This evening enjoy Dinner and entertainment.
Day 8:
Enjoy a Continental Breakfast before leaving for a visit to the Devils Tower National Monument. See the national monument and enjoy the visitor center, which containsinterpretive exhibits, as well asthe Devils Tower Natural History book store and souvenirshop. Later that day, after a relaxing Dinner, you'll check into your en route hotel for a two nightstay.
Day 9:
After Continental Breakfast, you'll depart for a Guided Tour of the Yellowstone National Park. See amazing sightssuch asthe Mammoth Hot Springs and Old Faithful. Later, enjoy Dinner and return to your hotel for a good night'srest.
Day 10:
After enjoying a Continental Breakfast, you will depart for the Trail End Historic Site in Sheridan, WY. The home tellsthe amazing story of John Kendrick, one of Wyoming'slegendary successstories, who went from being a penniless cowboy to become a United States Senator. Later that day, after a relaxing Dinner, you'll check into your en route hotel.
Day 11:
Enjoy a Continental Breakfast before leaving for the famous Corn Palace. Later that day, after a relaxing Dinner, you'll check into your en route hotel.
Day 12:
Enjoy a Continental Breakfast at your hotel before leaving for the National World War I Museum at Liberty Memorial in Kansas City, MO. That night, enjoy Dinner and check into your en route hotel.
Day 13:
Today after a Continental Breakfast, you will go to the St. Louis Art Museum. Tonight, rest in your en route hotel.
Day 14:
Today, after enjoying a Continental Breakfast, you depart for home... a perfect time to chat with your friends about all the fun things you've done, the greatsights you've seen and where your next group trip will take you!
FAQ about our Diamond Tours
What is your cancellation policy?
Travelers who cancel their booking at least 30 days prior to the trip departure date are eligible for a full refund, minus a $50 cancellation fee. Cancellations made within 30 days of the departure date are non-refundable.
If travel insurance was purchased and the reason for cancellation falls under the coverage terms of your policy, you may be able to file a claim to recover eligible costs of the trip, excluding the travel insurance premium. Please refer to the terms and conditions of your travel insurance policy and consult directly with your insurance provider for details regarding coverage and claims.
What if there is inclement weather?
In case of inclement weather, we will make every effort to reschedule the tour. Should rescheduling prove impossible, you will be fully refunded.
Are there any stops scheduled for the bus ride?
Yes! We have stops schedule every 2 to 2.5 hours.
Do you offer luggage handling?
Luggage handling will be provided at your final destination hotel. However, please note that this service will not be available at hotels during your journey to or from the final destination (if there are any). You will be responsible for managing your own luggage throughout these transit periods. For your convenience, we recommend packing a small overnight bag containing essential items such as documents, valuables, and medications for use on these nights.
What hotels will we be staying at?
Hotel details will be provided approximately one month before your trip. Typically, we select nationally recognized mid-tier hotels, such as Best Western, Tru by Hilton, and Country Inn and Suites, based on our previous trips. Rest assured, all accommodations are routinely inspected by our tour company to ensure they meet our high standards of quality and cleanliness.
